Welcome to Caveat Emptyer Wine List!

I'm just a man with a bad memory who likes wine--I have no connection to the wine industry. Rather than ranking a wine in some subjective hierarchy, Caveat Emptyer embraces subjective anarchy. The idea is to try to indicate--even for bottles dearly beloved or tragically loathed by the reviewer--by faint clues and indirections whether or not a reader might like them. I've also supplied important details about bottles that I wish one could more easily find online:
1) How much did it cost, and how alcoholic is it?
2) Does it "burn clean" or does it cause intestinal distress?
3) What kind of closure does it have?
